Please synchronise your device with your computer before continuing! The iPhone will delete all existing contacts and calendar entries when setting up sync service.
- Setting up your iPhone for interWaysMAIL Push:
- Go to Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendar
- Add Account
- Microsoft Exchange
- Email: Your interWaysMAIL-Address (e.g.:
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
)
- Domain: the part after the @ sign (e.g. name@interwaysmail.com becomes here: interwaysmail.com)
- User name: yourname (

- Password: Your password
- Description: interWays push
- "Continue", wait a few seconds (if a certificate error pops up please "Cancel")
- Enter server address: ssl.interways.de
- press "Continue", wait a few seconds
- Click "Save"
- Done! Within the next minutes, your iPhone will load all mail, contacts and calendars stored in Webmail, Outlook, Apple Mac, Linux etc... (if installed)
- You can even sync contact photos to and from your iPhone!
- Beginning with iPhone OS 3.0, you can activate push notifications even for subfolders (in the account settings, simply go to 'Mail Folders to Push' and click on the folders you wish to receive new mail notifications for).
